Troubleshooting Google OAuth Issues

Updated June 3, 2026 · 461 views

Google OAuth credentials can expire or get revoked.

Common Error Causes

  1. Password changes: Changing your Google password invalidates previous tokens.
  2. Missing scopes: Forgetting to check GSC or GA4 boxes during authentication.
  3. Token expiry: Google occasionally revokes tokens on inactive developer apps.

How to Fix

Simply go to Settings > Google Accounts, click Unlink Account, and click Connect Google Account again.
